RBAの2019/12/3日の金融政策会議の議事録が12/17日公表されました。
これまでは、必要であれば、金融政策をさらに緩和する用意ができていると言っていました。
今回は
必要に応じて金融政策をさらに緩和し････の目標の達成を支援する準備を整えた。
という言い方に変えました。
20年2月に経済見通しを再評価すると言っていますので、緩和するとしても2月初め、その可能性は低いように思いますがどうでしょうか？

理事会は、最も適切なアプローチは、金融政策の現在のスタンスを維持し、金融政策の緩和が経済にどのような影響を与えているかの証拠を引き続き評価することであると結論付けました。
A-phrase
メンバーは、2020年2月に世銀が最新の予測を準備する際に経済見通しを再評価することが重要であることに同意しました。
B-phrase
審議の一環として、メンバーは、必要に応じて、理事会が経済にさらなる刺激を提供する能力があることに留意しました。
C-phrase
メンバーはまた、完全雇用を達成し、インフレ目標を達成するために、オーストラリアで長期間の低金利が必要になると予想することは合理的であることに同意しました。
D-phrase
理事会は、労働市場を含む展開を引き続き監視し、必要に応じて金融政策をさらに緩和し、経済の持続的成長、完全雇用、および長期にわたるインフレ目標の達成を支援する準備を整えました。

決定

理事会は、キャッシュレートを0.75％のまま変更しないことを決定しました。

Minutes of the Monetary Policy Meeting of the Reserve Bank Board

The Board concluded that the most appropriate approach would be to maintain the current stance of monetary policy and to continue to assess the evidence of how the easing in monetary policy was affecting the economy.
A-phrase
Members agreed that it would be important to reassess the economic outlook in February 2020,
when the Bank would prepare updated forecasts.
B-phrase
As part of their deliberations,
members noted that the Board had the ability to provide further stimulus to the economy,
if required.
C-phrase
Members also agreed that it was reasonable to expect that an extended period of low interest rates would be required in Australia to reach full employment and achieve the inflation target.
D-phrase
The Board would continue to monitor developments,
including in the labour market,
and was prepared to ease monetary policy further if needed to support sustainable growth in the economy,
full employment and the achievement of the inflation target over time.

The Decision

The Board decided to leave the cash rate unchanged at 0.75 per cent.
